Nestlings is a locally owned and operated childcare designed to ensure every child feels cherished, inspired and happy.
We believe that children learn and develop through play, helping to nurture their imagination and give them a sense of adventure. We want to provide every child that joins our nest the opportunity to fall in love with play. Our curriculum design and carefully considered learning environments are crafted to ignite curiosity and imagination.
Curated programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers aged six months to six years with our modern approach to childcare will feel cozy, inviting, safe and most importantly fun. Children will experience a sense of adventure as they develop new friendships and enjoy experiences that will enrich their lives.

At Nestlings Early Learning & Child Care we believe that each child is a capable, confident and rich in potential individual, able to construct their own learning. We use the philosophies of the Reggio Emilia program in conjunction with the How Does Learning Happen principles to guide us in educating the children in our care.
We believe that children learn through interactions with their community allowing them to develop a sense of belonging within their own environment. We provide an avenue of open communication using different tools, such as speech, painting, song, and building as some of the many ways children express themselves.
Together with our classrooms that act as a third teacher, our staff guide and facilitate learning while recognizing all contributing factors to the growth and development of children. We believe that learning goes beyond our classrooms; there are opportunities to learn indoors as well as outdoors. Parents and guardians are partners in education and help in the development of young minds in their journeys to becoming the best versions of themselves.
Infants 6 – 18 months
Nestlings Early Learning & Childcare’s infant program is a calm, soothing environment that fosters all areas of growth in our youngest hatchlings. Our infants learn sign language in conjunction with verbal words encouraging the development of communication skills. They are introduced to sensory play, gross motor and fine motor through a variety of activities focused on the developmental levels of each child.
The infant room caters to the individual schedules of the children enrolled ensuring that the individual needs of each child are met.
Toddlers 18 months – 2.5 years
Toddler aged children seek independence as they learn to further navigate their environment and develop their skills and personalities. Our toddler program helps foster and facilitate this exploration by providing a variety of choice and engaging materials. We support and encourage self-help skills as well as growth to cognitive, gross and fine motor skills.
Preschool 2.5-6 years
At Nestlings Early Learning & Childcare we believe that children learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore their environment and surroundings independently. We also believe that the environment is its own teacher and as such create spaces that allow our preschool children opportunities to be in charge of their own learning experiences.
Our preschool children are given the tools and skills to help make a smooth transition into kindergarten
